I therefore recommend that the title of

his position be changed to "Chief Preventive Officer* and that his emoluments from lat. January, 1918, be similar to those of the Chief Detective Inspector of Police, namely £300 annually rising to £360 by biennial increments of £20.

As the Estimates for 1918 are involved
